GETTING STARTED

To create an archive, you must install the ArchiveOne™ POD. The POD allows you to manage and login to your archive(s).

POD installation requires a personal computer running Windows 8 (or higher) or Mac OS 10.12(or higher).

How to check which version of Windows your computer is running.

1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > System > About.
2. Under Windows specifications, you can find out which edition and version of Windows your device is running.

1. Open Microsoft Store application

A. Select the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar.

B. If you don't see the Microsoft Store type Microsoft Store in the Search box in the taskbar.

C. If there is not search box in the taskbar, right click the Start button and click Search.

2. Search for ArchiveOne POD app

A. Type ArchiveOne POD in the search box at the top of the Microsoft Store app

B. The ArchiveOne™ Icon will appear below the search box. Click on the icon.

3. Install ArchiveOne POD app

A. After the previous step you will be on the ArchiveOne POD homepage within the Microsoft Store app.

B. Click Get button and the ArchiveOne POD app will install. Note if you are not signed in, you will be requested to sign in to your Microsoft (Hotmail) Account or create a new account.

4. Launch Installed ArchiveOne POD app

A. Once the Microsoft Store installs the ArchiveOne POD you will have the option to launch it by clicking Launch.

B. Click Start button, the ArchiveOne POD app should appear at the top of the app list under the heading Recently Added.

C. If ArchiveOne POD app is not shown in the app list, type ArchiveOne into the search box in the task tray.

Open the following URL in a web browser (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/archiveone-pod/9npz3jbx3gg7)

2. Search for ArchiveOne POD app

A. Type ArchiveOne POD in the search box at the top of the Microsoft Store webiste. The ArchiveOne Icon will appear below the search box. Click on the icon.

B. This will take you ArchiveOne POD landing page within the Microsoft Store website. Click Get to open a similar landing page in the Microsoft Store app on your Window 10 computer.

3. Open Microsoft Store application

If the previous step successfully opened the ArchiveOne POD landing page the Microsoft Store app on your computer continue to Step 5, if not you will need to search for the app (step 4).

4. Search for ArchiveOne POD app

A. Type ArchiveOne POD in the search box at the top of the Microsoft Store app.

B. The ArchiveOne Icon will appear below the search box. Click on the icon.

5. Install ArchiveOne POD app

A. After the previous step you will be on the ArchiveOne POD homepage within the Microsoft Store app.

B. Click Get button and the ArchiveOne POD app will install. Note if you are not signed in, you will be requested to sign in to your Microsoft (Hotmail) Account or create a new account.

6. Launch Installed ArchiveOne POD app

A. Click Start button, the ArchiveOne POD app should appear at the top of the app list under the heading Recently Added.
